Gerry Webb Transport Services Ltd is a family run business which has been operating for over 50 years supplying transport vehicles in the UK and Europe.

LAURENCE.

Managing Director.

Straight from college I started working for our father Gerry Webb on the traffic desk sourcing customer’s, subbies, arranging transport and in general gaining an all round knowledge of the business. After 9 years our father retired and I took over the company. From here I went on to take my CPC in road transport in order to gain more in depth knowledge to provide a better service to our customers and in turn manage and develop the company into the successful business it is today.

Interests: Restoring Raleigh Chopper bikes and cycling.

KATRINA.

Director.

I started with Gerry Webb transport Services Ltd in 1996, working my way from the bottom up!
As well as developing new clients my primary role was supporting my brother Laurence on the traffic desk. Like Laurence, I too over the years have gained an all round knowledge and became a director in 2012. In later years I moved across to admin and accounts. However currently I have a more behind the scenes role in business management and marketing.

Interests: Cake decorating & cycling.

Graham.

Senior Transport Co-ordinator.

I assist in the day to day running of the traffic department including all aspects of organising and covering the movement of our client’s goods which can include every type of consignment imaginable. Having worked in the logistics and warehousing sector for over 30 years I am good at adapting to and meeting our customer’s needs.

Interests: Family and Netflix.

I’m excited to have joined the Traffic desk team in February 2024 as growing up I learned the ins and outs of road haulage while accompanying my father in his lorry. I also brought with me transferable customer service skills from my time working front of house at a local marina.

Interests: Enjoying time with my young family and indulging my love of football.

Transport Co-ordinator.

I too along with Joe joined the traffic team in February 2024.

I am keen to continue my journey in the road haulage industry having moved nearer to London from Wiltshire where I worked within another family road haulage business. I look forward to utilising my knowledge and experience within in my Traffic Co-ordinator role providing an excellent customer experience. This new chapter both in and outside of my working life are a chance to make positive lasting memories with my partner since we both moved to the UK from Ukraine over 5 years ago.

Accounts Manager.

I started working for Gerry Webb Transport Services Ltd over 23 years ago in the year 2000 when my children began school. Initially I worked in admin’ and then alongside my mum, Yvonne, in the accounts department. I moved into her role as accounts manager when she retired after more than 50 years service.
